swerve. To turn aside or be turned aside from a straight course.  The shortest distance between two points isn’t always a straight line. Reading swerve can redefine your comfort zone.  That may be a good thing. (grin)

In Online Mentoring Bobby asks “Have any of you seen a site/application that does this for ministries? If not, maybe iMantri can be adapted…”. One site/application that immediately leaps to mind is YouVersion. On the site it states: “Community – YouVersion makes it easy to connect and collaborate with others. Contribute – With YouVersion you have the power to share your content with your closest friends, family, or anyone online! Take connect and collaborate with others, combine it with the power to share your content and add the ability to do so in confidence with your mentor/mentee. Think YouVersion .2, the upgrade. This sounds like a job for the Digerati! Just a thought. (grin)

Privacy, encryption and discretion. Those are all words that come to mind when I think of the mentor/mentee relationship. Control of these aspects of a site/application might need to be taken into consideration. Which brings me right back to that whole topic of transparency…oh, nevermind. (grin)

swerve. “The swerve is ergonomically designed for emergency and short distance…”

  1. I had a similar thought, Jimmy. Sounds like a good one for the Lifechurch team…maybe they have their hands full already?

Now, on that transparency….seems you’re getting pretty good at it yourself! (grin)

  2. Robin! Hya! That could be. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I am a little bit better than I use to be. (grin)
