connecting part one to part two
Subtitle: Why I think I’m so clever
I have to confess, I do. I get a lot of compliments because of the clever things I say on other people’s blogs. I even get some compliments on how clever I am on here, my very own blog. Heck, I even give myself some because I’m Good Enough, I’m Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me! But pride is a fickle lover. One day you can be all happy and up because you are just full of yourself, and the next day you can be all depressed and nearly suicidal because you are just sick of yourself. Don’t tell me you haven’t been there. I read your blogs too.(grin)
If you read through my series on Transparency Revisited, and manage not to get too distracted by the content, you can see how my “process” works. Especially because it didn’t. I’m an “idea” man. Inspiration, baby, that’s what I like. Planning things out, no problem. I don’t really. A real rough outline in my head, and the knowledge that I’m pretty good at winging it, is usually all I have. So the 3 times I’ve actually planned a series out on here, twice I’ve failed to complete them and the last one, Transparency Revisited, despite my best efforts to finish it with the content I said I would, well, I wussed out and just called it done. Seriously, I said I’d at least finish it with the stuff I went through Easter Sunday at the Refuge OKC, CRM and Cross & Crown. Instead, I wussed out with some personal sob stories, and called it “the end”, without actually telling the Easter Sunday stories.
That’s right boys and girls, I’m suspect. I give my word, and then I don’t carry through with it. That’s not the worst of it either. Seriously, how many of you count me suspect because, while I blog about you and your alienness, I never become one with the Force? Come on, none of you ever invite me to be a good blogging neighbor and guest blog on your blogs. I understand why. Your blogs are about being all alien. I’m not. My blog is all about YOU being alien. That makes me suspect. Which brings us to today’s theme; connecting part one to part two. You thought I was gonna say “neighbors”, didn’t you? More after the more break. Boy, y’all are easy. (grin)
