Bummer. Looks like I got the train again. I hate when that happens.
Why I blog: I blog about the aliens that are among us here in Oklahoma City. And by aliens I refer to Christians:
John 17:14 (New International Version) 14: I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
Why I blog about the aliens among us: I’m looking for the light behind the lamps.
The blogroll rule: If you comment, I’ll add your blog to my blogroll. If you have a blog. If you don’t want me to, or want me to take your blog off the blogroll, just let me know. After the fact, before the fact, whenever. No worries. OH! If you list me in your blogroll, and I find out, I’m gonna list you in my blogroll! Of course, I’ll still take you off if you ask. (grin)
Oh, and since this is a “re-begun” blog, only those comments in 2009. I’m too lazy to go back and add all y’all from last year. Which means that Jenn Marshall beat all of you to the punch. (grin)

The blog title: Aliens Among US refers to the scripture that states that your Savior and His people are not of this world. So you Christians are not of this world. That makes you aliens, and that’s how I refer to you. What? You are too! (grin)
The Among Us portion of the title refers to original purpose of this blog, which was to post about local alien bloggers. I’ve since expanded the purpose, or “vision” as you aliens might say, to include any alien bloggers and topics. Comprende? (grin)

How’s your wifey? I trust you are doing really well.
Good to see you blogging. I was sad when you flipped the switch on your blog last year. My blog is small and not worth adding to your blogroll. I use it mainly to keep in touch with my daughters. One of them is a missionary in Mexico w/ her hubby and family. Another one lives in New Bruanfels, Texas and the third lives near us in Killeen, Texas. TMI I’m thinking. Sorry about that.

Hya Linda w/ hubby Ron! Welcome to the blog!
Mrs. Paravane is doing much better. Thanks for asking! For a short while after her hospitalization, I thought she was only going to recover to 60% of her old self. If I was an alien, I would’ve rejoiced at that much recovery! Shh… don’t tell the other aliens, but I did rejoice. (grin)
She’s up to 85% of her old self, and with the addition of Namenda to her meds, she is still improving!
I’m glad yer enjoying the blog. I’ve decided that size, popularity and hitcount don’t matter. Those are just distractions. I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve come to the realization that I’m a retired, married grandfather. I’ve achieved so much more than just my goal of surviving. I don’t know what to do next(grin). But I do know I need to stop doing just that, and start living.
So here I am. After all, life is all about the me, isn’t it? (grin)
